What is an Adventure Nanny?

An adventure nanny is a childcare professional who combines traditional caregiving with outdoor exploration, fostering a connection between children and nature. They provide attentive, safe supervision while engaging children in stimulating, nature-based activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development. This approach encourages curiosity, resilience, and a love for the outdoors, offering families a unique childcare option that supports healthy, active lifestyles and meaningful family adventures.

What age groups do you work with?

Adventure nannies typically work with children from toddlers to teens.

What types of activities do Adventure Nannies do with kids?

Age-appropriate activities

Maintaining safe adult-to-child ratios

Constant visual and physical supervision

Emergency preparedness and communication plans

We also discuss your child’s boundaries, allergies, and health needs beforehand.
